Overview
A major goal of OPEN HOUSE is to heal collective traumas on both sides that have yielded long and painful memories and, in so doing, to forge a promising future for all children of the region.
Friends of OPEN HOUSE is committed to:
- Supporting the healing and peacebuilding initiatives of OPEN HOUSE in Ramle;
- Establishing people-to-people links among North Americans, Europeans, and the youth and adults participating in OPEN HOUSE programs.
To achieve these goals, we support a variety of programs for young children, teenagers, and their families. OPEN HOUSE's Core Programs include the Nursery School for Arab Israeli children and the Summer Peace Camps.
Each year, we also sponsor several Special Projects with targeted funding. These include youth trips to other countries and within Israel.
